We are registered with the Secretary of the State of Connecticut (ID # 0004834035) and registered with the Secretary of the State of Vermont (ID # 0328188) and Secretary of the State of New Hampshire (ID # 000298128) and as a charitable trust with the Department of the Attorney General, Division of Charitable Trusts pursuant to Chapter 7 Section 19 of the Revised Statutes Annotated of the State of New Hampshire. We are a non-profit counseling corporation organized and operated primarily to provide low-fee or pro-bono therapy services to the financially needy or the distressed. We are tax exempt as a charitable organization and our non-profit corporation is organized and operates exclusively for purposes that are beneficial to the public.

According to the IRS, the term “charitable” includes relief of the poor, the distressed, and the underprivileged; advancement of religion; advancement of education or science; erecting or maintaining public buildings, monuments, or works; lessening the burdens of government; lessening neighborhood tensions; eliminating prejudice and discrimination; defending human and civil rights secured by law; and combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency.
